The topic for our podcast was ACCESS. We split the podcast into five different topics. Theresa introduced the topic and gave an overview of ACCESS. Ashley discussed educators’ responsibilities. Melinda discussed why students take ACCESS courses and what characteristics make a success online learner. Kim discussed available courses. Lastly, Heather discussed available resources for ACCESS users.

Shukelia Mitchell, Paige Petty, Tosha Thomas and Laura Smith did our podcast on the use of blogging in the classroom. , We discussed teachers and blogging, students and blogging, parents and blogging, and international blogging.

Blogging for teachers can be used to communicate with students about assignments. Students can be creative with their assignments when blogging, as well as receive comments from peers, teachers, and parents. Parents are able to check students' blogs for events and assignments. International blogging is beneficial for students to communicate with other cultures. Blogging is a wonderful resource for schools and home to communicate.

Our group consisted of Erin Chupek, Mallory Burke, and Megan Bass. Our podcast was a discussion about Randy Pausch's last lecture. We chose to talk about his last lecture because it touched each one of our lives in many different ways. His life was a good example of how to achieve your goals and dreams.

It was apparent from his video that he influenced and taught many people. We discussed his childhood dreams and how he achieved each one of them. We also talked about his teaching methods. We felt that his video would influence others in the same way that it influenced us. That is the reason why we chose this particular topic for our podcast.
